Yellow Orchid

Thank you to Crafty Friends for choosing me as one of their top 3 on my very first attempt.
A bright yellow card this time for the Butterfly Challenge blog following the Marianne Design sketch. This little swallow decided not to fly south for winter. Maybe not a good choice with all the rain we've been having.

I used yellow card to cut the Anja Border LR0201 and Vintage Corner LR0285 and cut the Orchid COL1379 out of cream and yellow card. I added some lace, yellow bow and a yellow butterfly.

I am entering this in the following challenges:-
Butterfly Challenge X is for Xanthine
Cute Card Thursday Anything Goes
Marianne Design Divas Anything Goes
Marianne Design Kreadiva's Anything Goes
Crafting from the Heart Anything Goes

Thank you for looking please come again.

  3. A beautiful mix of shabby chic and vintage. Love the lace and the double bow and the yellow butterfly nestling in amongst the other embellishments. I always find it quite difficult to follow sketches myself and stay clear of them. You have done this sketch proud. Thankyou for fluttering by my butterfly challenge. Hugs Mrs A.
